Finally the new Bahramji & Mashti album “Mojud” is here. Mojud means something like being present or presence. The two created three epic albums together between 2004 and 2011 and finally found their way back into the Ibiza studio this winter. Again they managed to create a unique sound combining the beautiful Persian and Kurdish music of Bahramji with the deep electronic sound of Mashti. I visited the two in Ibiza and formed an opinion on the spot: I think it´s a real classic again 🙂 Listen here:
